Handpicked luxury & boutique hotels full of soul
We care about where we put our head each night. Are the pillows soft, the duvets snuggly, the towels fluffy and breakfast something special and worth waking up for. Does the place have a big personality and come with a generous dollop of style and lashings of soul? Slick city bolt-hole or super cool mountain cabin, laid-back beachside retreat or funky hideaway, we’ve got it covered…

Read fellow traveller’s tales, their postcards & trip highlights
Chances are, we or someone else has been there too. We try to visit all our hotels so that we can recommend places we’ve been, loved and would go to again in a heartbeat and if we’ve found a place that you love and truly matters to you, then send a postcard. We give you the chance to share your highlights with your friends the traditional way, online (so there’s no need to find the address, a stamp to lick or stick….oh, and a post office)

Book & Go
Our on line booking facility allows you to talk directly to the hotels and you won’t find a better price by contacting the hotel directly. So browse our selection, read postcards, create your bucket list of dream hotels and then just book & go.

Founded by Sharon Trevelyan, an English Australian citizen-of-the world with a successful career in international marketing and a history of extensive living and travelling around Australia and Africa. She started with a pen and a complete inability to drive on the wrong side of the road and set out to explore the world.  Now, having just moved from Paris, she currently lives in London.

I’m a self admitted addict to travel, having spent years exploring East Africa and driving from coast to coast around Australia.  Moving to Paris was a culture shock, leaving the beach and spaces that I’d become used to and instead living in the center of a very beautiful, very busy city.  I needed to breathe, and to do so I needed to escape the city – but where to go and where to stay?  And with those questions, mypootle began…

Come & pootle with us!
